“Charming hilltop hotel near many great attractions. Entire hotel was beautiful, great atmosphere, including the well-decorated rooms, each unique (from what we could tell). The staff, especially reception and food service (Thanks Francois!), was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had no problem walking to the Coliseum (the hotel is about 2 km or so SW of the Circus Maximus site, if I'm remembering correctly). The breakfast was plentiful, and had good variety. This is one hotel that is as advertised. We were not disappointed in any respect.”

“Staff superb, knowledgeable. Sexy atmosphere, quiet, pine-filled solitude in Rome (almost an oxymoron). Food: breakfast more than adequate, tea cookies yummy, dinner in garden - try chef's special, very fresh; very good white wine. Rooms: elegant idiosyncrasy. When can we go back!?! Clear with charges, honest: taxis and other concierge needs, fair deals. Rooms etc. were spotless - everything gleamed. Location is _perfect_: quiet hill (no shops, businesses) within 10 minute walk of Circus Maximus, Forum, etc. Not enough stars to give this hotel!”
