Eventhough the hotel was remote, we actually loved the location. We were in a wonderful neighborhood -- very quaint, very quiet. The room was great. They gave us a room with a balcony and greeted us with refreshing drinks and complimentary champagne.

The location.

great location in quiet neighborhood but not too far from all the action. Lovely loung area for a nightcap, friendly employees and excellent service.

The location was fantastic - it was like being in a country villa even though you were five minutes from the Colosseum. The rooms were also excellent - large, beautifully designed with lots of character; the bathrooms are also a great size and nicely designed.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was close to a bus stop that was 10 mins to the Vatican and 7 mins to the Colosseum. It was in a quite residential neighborhood which was very safe. The breakfast was great and traditional Italian style. The room was quite big by Rome standards and the bathroom had a shower/tub that was huge. The room overall was beautiful. Everything worked wonderfully.

Everything! The neighborhood was quiet and very beautiful...a nice retreat from the hetic pace of Rome. I loved the elegant touches everywhere you looked. The outdoor spaces were peaceful. The staff was very nice. Upon arrival, champagne and strawberries were served in our room...a very nice surprise. I can't wait to return to Rome just to stay here!

Quiet setting, attentive service, breakfast in the garden, and the feel of a fine, old mansion.

The location was lovely, at the top of a leafy hill in a largely residential area. A wonderful place to return to after a day of walking the city. We found a number of great little local restaurants about 10 minutes away - we never ended up going back into the city for dinner. Breakfasts were lovely outside in the garden. A nice selection of foods and the setting was quiet and peaceful.
