The hotel was very nicely decorated, and the staff were extremely friendly. The services on offer were comprehensive, and I felt very welcome there.

Staff is welcoming and professional; the atmosphere is distinctly japanese (at least west coast US style).

The hotel is in the small japanese area of San Francisco. Great sushi restaurants near by. The blocks on the west side of the hotel host many nice boutiques. The hotel is far from the fisherman's wharf and the business district. The neighborhood between the hotel and the business district is not a very good one. I would advise taking a cab to go to the downtown area.

Asian Decor. Nice big shower. Room service breakfast very good.

Good location, quiet.

Clean. Authentic Japanese atmosphere. Helpfulness and courtesy of staff. Safe feeling of neighborhood.

The lobby decor and hotel restaurant and bar are much more polished than the rooms. Bar is open pretty late, and even though they only serve food until 10, they took our order even though we sat down right after. The price is great, our room was pretty spacious.

The rooms were a good size and the location was great for me.

It was a true Japanese hotel. The soaking tub was a definite highlight.
