  1. “We found the breakfast buffet to be the best we've ever had in any European hotel. The selection was amazing and there was even a chef to do omelets and pancakes. We also spent New Year's Eve at the hotel - the meal was lovely. Our only complaint - the location of the hotel is not the best - it is a bit out of the way; it was near the metro stop, however, so that made things much easier. It was a good choice for us all in all. Very accomodating staff. Very clean. GREAT shower w/a sunflower shower head.”

  2. “Stayed in a deluxe room which was big but not as luxurious as I was hoping. Unfortunately we were positioned directly above the bar/restaurant and it was really noisy on the first night, also very very hot (no air-conditioning) so we had to have the window open which made it even noisier. Also despite being a no-smoking room with the window open cigarette smoke came into the room from the restaurant balcony below. Hotel were sympathetic and moved us to another room next night which was slightly better. Nice staff.”

  7. “The ONLY problem with this hotel was the lack of double beds. And especially, the fact that even in rooms with doubles, the bedding was two single duvets. For a romantic weekend away with my husband, this wasn't exactly what I was looking for! But the style of the hotel, atmosphere, friendliness/helpfulness of the staff, great bar, great coffee shop ... all more than made up for it. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending.”

  11. “Wonderful hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and good sized overlooking the square. Location - a little away from the main areas, but still walking distance to Gamla Stan (old town). We were there on a very quiet weekend, but i could see that the bar and restaurant would be heaving usually. Definetely recommended!”

  12. “We loved the design of the rooms. The bathroom was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our only big disappointment was with the indoor air quality of the room. It was unfortunately warm and stuffy, with no apparent way to circulate the air. (though we saw an air vent mounted in the wall.) When in the room, we opened the door for fresh air, but did not feel comfortable leaving it open all night.”
