  1. “Great, all staff encountered where most helpful and charming, not even fazed by youngest daughter being sick upon stepping out of taxi – nice entrance! Hotel is next door to Sydney's most famous pie vendor, Harry's Cafe de wheels – the 'tiger pie' as recommended by the concierge was something of a gastronomic tour de force – street style!. Only quibble re Tablet was that I called to make ammends to my booking 4 or 5 days before arrival and the day clerk could not trace my original booking which caused me concern, but upon arrival all was in hand. Enjoyed the complimentory drinks on arrival.”

  2. “The stay was outstanding. The design and specification of the hotel is one of the best we have experienced and we use hotels all over the world all the time.”

  3. “Was a bit disappointed by the hotel. It was somewhat out of the way -- not very walkable to reach the main touristy areas or even the non-touristy ones -- especially in the evenings. Very taxi-dependent. First room I was put in was horrible -- noisy and the bathroom curtain was moldy and smelled. Service-wise excellent, but I got a better deal booking the Establishment Hotel for two days prior than I did for Blue Sydney -- cheaper overall price and way better location and value.”

  5. “when we checked out, the guy at the reception tried to charge more than the price we booked. We had to find the email to show him we were right.”

  6. “The hotel was very good although on the second of my 2 stays recently I was a little unhappy about my room type - even after I'd been switched once - it was not nearly as good as the room during my first stay despite being the same price.”

  7. “Your staff was EXCELLENT! I had fallen ill and I am grateful for their service. The facility is very unique. The rooms could have used a little more cleaning- a more detailed cleaning and update on carpeting. Overall experience was great and I would come back for another visit.”

  8. “I was disappointed that the Gym was not available for use during my stay. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay and I will contemplate staying again when I am in Sydney in August.”

  9. “Room and bathroom were a bit 'tired', and can do with some renovation. For instance, the shower was moldy, the desk chipped, and the handle on the in-room fridge broken. NOT what one expects in a $300 a night hotel. The pool area was poorly kept - there were no towels on one occasion, while the only shower in the men's locker room had no soap or shampoo on three different occasions. again, NOT what one would expect of a hotel of this caliber.”

  12. “The Blue Sydney hotel offered great value - an interesting design with the old wharf features used to great effect; a beautiful location on the water, next to the Boy Charlton pool, the Botanic Gardens, and with all the pubs, bars and restaurants of Woolloomoolo (is that enough 'o's?) and Potts Point at your doorstep; clean, modern rooms with spacious bathrooms - and all at a price that (on the night we booked) was about half that of other Sydney city hotels.”
