I have stayed there before and I find it great for food, location and atmosphere. The unique architecture of the building is fascinating.

Great location - convenient for nearly everything and in a beautiful spot near the Domain. Nice design generally and an interesting conversion. Staff friendly and helpful. Great selection of restaurants in the building.

The hotel building, a conversion of a historic warehouse on the wharf, has been done really well and the designers have created a very stylish environment. Much more interesting than the blandness and predictability of most modern hotels. We had a loft room overlooking the water and with views back to the city. The rooms were a good size and well furnished with comfortable beds and good quality linen. It was a pleasant surprise to find how quiet the rooms were given that they open on to a balcony above the bar which is quite popular on the weekends (but closes at midnight). Blue is in a great location being just a short walk through the park to the central city but also close to the restaruants and bars of Potts Point and Kings Cross. All in all a great hotel that we'll definitely be going back too.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, only a short walk through the beautiful gardens to the Opera House and city. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the complex and the bar/restaurant within the hotel is great as well. We had a fantastic room, with downstairs living and upstairs bedroom.

The gracious, relaxed and sophisticated ambience. Lovely breakfast in wonderful surrounds. Very helpful and pleasant staff including all cleaning staff. Close proximity to all I wanted to see and especially beautiful walking paths through the Botanical Gardens.

The Blue used to be the W in Sydney and now that it has changed hands to a Taj hotel, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of hotel. I love the location on Wooloomooloo pier and there are many great restaurants close by on the pier. The staff are attentive and the facilities (both business and pleasure are good).
