  3. “The hotel building, a conversion of a historic warehouse on the wharf, has been done really well and the designers have created a very stylish environment. Much more interesting than the blandness and predictability of most modern hotels. We had a loft room overlooking the water and with views back to the city. The rooms were a good size and well furnished with comfortable beds and good quality linen. It was a pleasant surprise to find how quiet the rooms were given that they open on to a balcony above the bar which is quite popular on the weekends (but closes at midnight). Blue is in a great location being just a short walk through the park to the central city but also close to the restaruants and bars of Potts Point and Kings Cross. All in all a great hotel that we'll definitely be going back too.”

  5. “The hotel is in a fantastic location, only a short walk through the beautiful gardens to the Opera House and city. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the complex and the bar/restaurant within the hotel is great as well. We had a fantastic room, with downstairs living and upstairs bedroom.”

  7. “The Blue used to be the W in Sydney and now that it has changed hands to a Taj hotel, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of hotel. I love the location on Wooloomooloo pier and there are many great restaurants close by on the pier. The staff are attentive and the facilities (both business and pleasure are good).”
