La Consolacion is a stylish countryside getaway in a beautiful part of Spain as yet largely undiscovered by foreign tourists. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous, the staff is gracious, very helpful, proud of the beauty of the local area and enthusiastic about helping their guests enjoy their stay. We had a wonderful five nights in October.
We went in late spring, the coldest on record for Europe for 30 years; were grateful for the central heat and fireplace in the enormous and beautifully outfitted "antique" room. The food was amazing as was the overall hospitality. We will go back.
We couldn't of asked for a better stay at Consolacion. For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Barcelona this is the perfect place. The hotel restaurant served some of the best Spanish food I have ever eaten, all locally sourced or produced on site!We will definitely be coming back for more!
This hotel is absolutely stunning- the rooms and the views are out of this world- what an incredible hotel in an incredible, hidden part of Spain. The service was also impeccable- we truly felt like guests that were being hosted. It's also incredibly good value for money- the food in the restaurant and the wines are excellent and fairly priced and the little touches and attention to detail is amazing. Can't wait to go back.
