“We did book a room with a free-standing bath which we didn't get (although they offered to move us for the second night to a room with one), and we did feel that the staff were a little overstretched - the hotel was full I believe - as we had just come from another Taj hotel (Umaid Bahwan in Jodpur)where the service just seemed more personal which leads us to think that had there not been so many people there things would have been a little more relaxed. We also felt they played on the Octopussy connection eg you can dine by the Lily Pond - for $450 per person!! But in general a lovely hotel.”

“The hotel was delightful, but our experience could have been improved if the staff had tried a little less hard and loosened up a little, eg we were put off a second night in the main restaurant as the first night's meal had constantly been interrupted by staff asking if everything was alright & not realising that the only thing that was problematic was their intrusion.”

“The hotel is beautifully maintained - individual rooms as well as all the public spaces. Lots of attention to detail, and some of the best and most attentive service I have ever received in a hotel. The Staff were successful in making guests feel super special.The restaurants, spas and all other hotel facilities were fantastic. We would defnitiely consider going back!”
