The area for the hotel was perfect - so many restaurants nearby. The only downside of the area was the constuction nearby.

Good service, funky rooms, great location. We were very satisfied

Cool location, efficient service, knowledgable and exceptionally helpful staff. Not particularly kid friendly but this did not detract from a fantastic stay. A winner.

Great hotel, a bit trendy but amazing customer service and perfect location.

Eager staff but small hotel with limited abilities, i.e. no one at front desk when I went there at 7 AM, no cabs in close proximity (had to call one).

Even though we felt a little like we were staying at an Ikea, the Opus provides a nice upscale environment for the traveler who wants something out-of-the-ordinary. Service was great, aside from one incredibly unpleasant woman at the front desk the day we checked out. But the real point of excellence was the door staff. At first they would seem a little reserved, but once you got them to let their guard down they were all really awesome. They gave us rides around town, hooked us up with ideas for entertainment, and were a real pleasure to deal with.In fact, all of the staff were really professional, helpful, and friendly. The location is also very central, and we rarely needed a car to go anywhere. Everything was within walking distance, and when it wasn't the door staff would either offer to drive us, we grabbed a short cab ride, or walked to the nearby SkyTrain station.

Nice interior design, friendly (and attractive) valet staff, homely well appointed rooms with everything you need. The Davey Street location is perfect to explore the many local ethnic restaurants, cycle around the Sea Wall / Stanley Park and downtown shopping.

like every tablet hotel i have stayed in the opus was first class all the way. from the staff greeting me at the front desk to the next evening at the restaurant/bar, the experience was attentive, friendly, professional and just relaxed cool.
