1. “This area has houses that date back to the 17th century and also has the oldest house in Amsterdam made of wood which dates back to 1475. There's a church there too that's quite nice. There's an interesting history in that only women were allowed to live there and they took care of the sick. It's a beautiful area that offers respite from the busy city.”
