1. “As the storm swept in it seemed like an excellent time to leave the Sky Bar at the State Tower. While there are quite a few restaurants in the building none of them, on past experience, were particularly dazzling - but then again bar and view are hard to measure up to. In the deluge we went to Somboon on Surawongse Rd at the recommendation of concierge at Metropolitan. Brilliantly fresh seafood simply and competently handled, and backed up by great staff.”
