2. “The wave of Northern Spanish restaurants and pintxo bars continues to gain momentum in the U.S., and Barcito in Chicago's Near North neighborhood is an excellent example of the form. The casual atmosphere gets livelier as the night goes on, but no matter how long you stay, it's hard to stop picking at the bar snacks — morcilla, tortilla, bocadillos, crudo... The drinks are no less true to form — several Asturian-style ciders, a compact but diverse list of Spanish wines, classic sherries, and cocktails that make use of the bounty.”
