“Hop into any cab in Chicago, tell the cabbie to drop you off at the best deli in the city and 10 times out of 10 you'll soon find yourself standing on the corner of Jefferson and Roosevelt. Manny's doesn't look like much more than a cafeteria, but one bite of their Brisket on Rye and you'll soon forget the elementary school feel of this famous kosher deli. Every sandwich comes with the most glorious latke this side of the Mississippi, and the knishes are worth the time too. If you forgot your tums, don't worry, they are fully stocked with all your gastrointestinal (and lottery) needs at the counter on the way out.”
