The Museo de San Marco is a former 15th century Dominican convent filled with a lot of history from that time period. There are a couple of frescoes paintings throughout the entire building and you get a religious vibe as you roam the halls.

Not as well known by tourists, but the most endearing site in Florence in my opinion. An old convent decorated with amazing frescoes by Fra. Angelico. Deeply moving.
