“This historic bar in Picadilly has been released from the tryranny of Marco Pierre White and is back to its former glory. Go, get a drink in the lounge, listen to the pianist play "as time goes by" and you're nostalgic about coming back before you leave. The golden byzantine mosiac ceiling is mesmerizing as it probably was 100 years ago when Sherlock Holmes was introduced to Dr. Watson here. Was that fiction? Funny . . . it all feels like a grand romantic novel in this place. Fabulous staff. and service.”
