My favorite restaurant in London. OK I am French, but this place would hold its own anywhere in France. I used to believe that the best food in London was either Pakistani or Lebanese which I did not mean in a bad way as I love both - never in the super designed modern London eateries. I avoid French restaurants outside of France - all attitude no substance. This place changed my mind on both rules. Finally some good western food in London. I found a couple of others which I also recommended. This is neither over-designed - although it is in the modern but relaxed Hotel Zetter - nor overpriced. The food is "honest" and tasty. Good wine list with affordable options.
