The restaurant is located in the stylish Metropolitan hotel on London's Old Park Lane. During the day, diners are not only enthralled by the food but also by the magnificent views of Hyde Park, while by night, the beautifully illuminated space is one of the city's hottest dining destinations. The Japanese / Peruvian fusion menu's signature dishes include Yellowtail with Jalapeno and Black Cod with Miso.

Great sushi and cocktails.

So it turns out the Mayfair Nobu location isn't the more coveted of the two Nobu locations in London, however I found it to be exactly what I was looking for. The sushi and sake are amazing (per Nobu standards!) and the downstairs area was playing good music for a crowd of lovely people sipping cocktails. We made 9:30 dinner reservations, and were able to get in and out in time to hit the nightclubs. If you aren't to keen on dining on mash and meat pies, I recommend Nobu for a grreat meal while in London.
