Polpo is a Venetian ‘bacaro’ with a New York vibe on the former Soho premises of Aperitivo, from ex-Caprice Holdings director Russell Norman. Polpo has a no reservation policy for dinner, so expect to queue, as this place is currently very popular, and deservedly so.

Polpo came recommended from friends and is exactly the kind of place you want to find in Soho. Lively, affordable, affable and stylish. The food is top notch - and that's coming not from a foodie, but someone who lives in Las Vegas with access to all the brand names of Robuchon,Keller, Savoy and such. Book, enjoy and leave plenty of time for a long leisurely lunch!
