“It's about 2 miles uphill up a steep canyon and hence quite a workout. Either running, or just walking it is a great workout. The views from the top are 180 degrees from the ocean to the Hollywood hills and a close up view on clear days of the Holywood sign. Free parking after 8am, but be there early, because it does get warm after 11am. If you are regular jogger/runner this runyon canyon is a great recommendation.”
