Stop at the historic Preservation Hall for some jazz. The venue itself is a sight to see. Over 250 years old, it has evolved from a private home into a tavern and now a music hall and gallery. It’s age definitely shows, but in the most charming way. For $12, you can hear the sound of New Orleans’ soul.
Great place for jazz. But get tickets beforehand, and get there early.
It does seem kind of touristy but really, it might have been my favorite thing in New Orleans. I'd say it's a must do in a heartbeat!
