The NoMad Restaurant is the latest venture from dynamic duo Daniel Humm and Will Guidara of Eleven Madison Park. Located in the lobby of the beaux-art inspired NoMad hotel and (according to the chefs) inspired by the Rolling Stones, the relaxed but upscale environment serves creative, technically-precise cuisine. The design and decor might at times seem over-the-top, with chaise-like booths and large, half-drawn curtains, but this just adds to the Gatsbyesque vibe. Not to be missed are the duck breast with peach and fennel and their signature dish, the roast chicken with brioche, foie gras, and truffles slipped underneath the crispy skin. A must-try for the global nomad.
