Chef Michael Anthony and pastry chef Nancy Olson create culinary delights that keep the masses coming. The friendly and knowledgeable staff creates a warm atmosphere. The cuisine changes each season, but some sample favorites include lightly smoked lobster and warm chocolate bread pudding.

One of the best in NYC. I've had some great meals here, and the place is great for making happy memories. The staff is incredible - warm and friendly. The one downside is they have a huge wood burning stove so you smell like fire when you leave!

Danny Meyer may not run the hottest, newest or top 3 restaurants in New York, but his restaurants are never far from the top in terms of food, are at the top in terms of service and so well-rounded that they enjoy the kind of longevity that is highly unusual in NYC. Gramercy Tavern is the one restaurant where I enjoy eating alone at the bar. This is also the restaurant where I take visitors I want to please.
