“The Morgan Library is an overlooked and under-appreciated gem in Manhattan. It's kind of what you'd expect to find at J.P. Morgan's library, lots of leather, rare artifacts and manuscripts, and they also have different exhibits throughout the year. In 2006 the Library received an expansion, designed by star architect Renzo Piano, and also boasts a delicious restaurant. It's a truly beautiful spot. We definitely recommend paying the Morgan Library a visit.”

“Not too far from the Bryant Park Hotel, the Morgan Library is a glimpse at old New York- the original rooms of J. Pierpont Morgan's library blended with the new modern facility. The collections are fabulous and special exhibits always delight.”

“Even though we're New Yorkers we had never known about this library/museum that's just a block away from the hotel. You can tour the historic library area and there is a large new gallery area attached that had several interesting exhibits while we were there. We saw a collection of sketches on loan from the louvre and a really interesting exhibit of Islamic art.”
