“Amazingly most people that live in the city never even make it up to the reservoir - joggers have loved the lake-like setting for decades but after Jackie O contributed to having it cleaned, it's easily my favorite spot in the park - you can either walk on the jogging track right on the water or on the old bridle path that runs around it. Some incredible views of the skyline here.My tip is if you are in NYC in the Spring time (usually mid-April) you must walk to the west side of the reservoir and stroll beneath the incredible cherry blossoms that form a canopy.”
