“Go for the twilight ride (leaves right around 7:30 PM). This was an unexpected highlight of our trip. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Truly unique experience and incredible views. You can have a cocktail at the top (we did!). AAA discount applies (but not for twilight ride, since it's already discounted by a few dollars). Even if you go in the summer, bring a jacket - it's 8,500+ feet, so it's chilly after the sun goes down. Highly recommend. Easy to do in a few hours and close to Palm Springs proper.”
