Incredible modern art museum. Restaurant Georges, at the top of the museum, is pricey but worth it - great food, and unbeatable views.
The permanent collection is a wonder... intelligent, diverse and well displayed... and NOT CROWDED... and very different from others you may be acquainted with.
The Dali exposition is superb, and the Centre has been nicely expanded in recent years (haven't been there in 10 years). An extraordinaire space to be visited by night, they stay open almost until midnight even in winter, and for people like us, who like to stay up late and visit, it was an excellent option.
We always enjoy visiting Centre Georges Pompidou (Place Georges-Pompidou – Paris 4e) both for the exhibitions and the funky architecture. In addition, it is a treat to grab a bite at the terrace restaurant Georges while taking in the lovely panoramic views of Paris.
