“Go up the hill to the Villa Borghese park and get away from the crowds. Wide open spaces, great views overlooking the city and a really cool, picture-perfect lake with its own Roman temple. You can save a thousand steps by ducking into the Spanish Steps metro station up the street from the hotel, go inside, but instead of buying a ticket and entreating the subway, take the looooong escalators up you pop right out on top in the park.”
