  1. “If you want some of the best gourmet organic food available, you have to head to the Ferry Building Marketplace. It's a collection of world-class food and wine from Northern California's most accomplished independent farmers and artisan producers. There are also restaurants and cafes on site so you can enjoy these culinary delights during your visit.”

  11. “Fabulous variety of foodstuffs including, on market days, gorgeous, fresh, organic, locally grown produce. Be sure to stop for breakfast at Il Cane Rosso (farro porridge is delish!), at Cowgirl Creamery for tasting and buying cheese, and at Acme bread to go with the cheese—and other places to supplement your perfect picnic.”
