The 1017 acre Golden Gate Park hosts 13 million visitors annually. It is home to the De Young Museum, Academy of Science, Botanical Gardens, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, Conservatory of Flowers and much, much more! It's a gorgeous place to run, walk, bike, hike or just lay in the grass and watch the clouds go by!

The Golden Gate Park is a wonderful place to relax and do some serious people watching. There are museums, cafes, greens, gardens (we especially recommend the Japanese Garden). There is tons to see here, including a merry-go-round and even lawn bowling!

More than 1000 acres of parkland featuring a wide range of activities. The park includes an aquarium, planetarium, arboretum, gardens, trails, and more.

I can think of no other city boasting a park with so much to do and see, from museums and gardens to landscaped scenery - all the way down to the Pacific.

Beautiful park, lovely museums. The deYoung is very special with good shows......both permanent and transient shows.
