Pretty much exactly what it sounds like: an ornate Japanese-style garden and teahouse, right in the heart of one of America’s most successful urban parks. Best seen during cherry blossom season, naturally, but it’s worth a visit on any day of the year.

Enjoy the serenity of the sculpted Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. Climb the curved bridge and walk up the steps to discover the giant Buddha and golden pagoda. Sip tea and nibble cookies while overlooking the famous koi fish pond.

Meticulously planted japanese garden complete with Carp and quiet cafe. Perfect for reading a book sipping jasmine tea.
