“This famous prison on The Rock has housed many notorious prisoners. Find out about them and more on a self-guided audio tour (offered in several languages). The tour takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours including the ferry ride to the island. Reservations are strongly recommended as tickets often sell out in advance.”

“The cruise to the island was pleasant. The view of San Francisco is magnificent. The audio tour of the old prison was excellent...one of the best.”
