“Ask the concierge to get you tickets and direct you to the sumo stadium. Get there around 3pm and enjoy the entrance of the top division rikishi (wrestlers). Make sure to get a small FM radio and tune-in the English comments!”

“If you can catch some sumo, it's a once in a lifetime experience. There are six big matches in different cities every year. When you purchase a ticket, you're entitled to a seat for an entire day of matches. I suggest going in the latter half of the day when the Juryo and Makuuchi are on. These are the most exciting with ceremonial entrances and more skilled sumo wrestlers in the ring. http://www.sumo.or.jp/eng/”
