“Go early or late and plan to spend about 30 minutes walking around and interacting with monkeys. The little guys will dig in your bag and rifle your pockets so make sure to leave everything in the car or carry a bag that you can secure. I had some wonderful experiences with them as I just sat and let them come to me. One even sat next to me and held my hand! It was a nice detour from the commercial industry of Ubud- just make sure to avoid the buses from Kuta and Seminyak.”
