Important information about traveling with kids:
Some hotels may charge extra for a rollaway bed or a crib - depending upon age. This possible extra charge is not always displayed by the hotel to appear with the list of available rates offered.
In order to make sure that you see the exact rate that you will be charged for an accommodation for more than 2 adults, it is best to double-check by emailing us at customer service with your dates and the ages of your children. We will be happy to confirm rates and availability for you.

Unless you’re a rap star, a pro athlete, or a Southerner by birth, the idea of Atlanta as a modern, upscale metropolis might be a strange one. But that’s exactly what it is — this is the capital of the South, and a city that’s big enough and busy enough to sustain not one or two but three W hotels. This one, the W Downtown, is exactly where it sounds like it is — this is a city with many centers, but one of them is the old downtown, the historic heart of Atlanta, where this brand-new glass tower stands surrounded by the old city skyline.
It’s part of the new breed of condo/hotel buildings, and anchors a massive mixed-use development — the days of the standalone hotel tower are seemingly over. Here you can sleep, dine, shop and drink, if not quite under one roof, then close to it. On site you’ll be served with the full complement of W facilities: Bliss spa, expansive fitness center, well-equipped business facilities and an open-air pool on the 16th floor.
Rooms are quite stylish, as is typical, with design and lighting tending towards the dramatic. And the public spaces are almost over-the-top — the Laurent Tourondel steakhouse and the very popular Drinkshop are about as far as it gets from the old-fashioned Southern plantation-house cliché.
How to get there:
Reaching Hotel by Taxi:The taxi fare to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and the hotel is a flat rate of $32 each way, plus $2 for each additional passenger. Airport shuttle services typically operate from 6.30am to midnight daily and rates are approximately $25 each way.
