Important information about traveling with kids:

Some hotels may charge extra for a rollaway bed or a crib - depending upon age. This possible extra charge is not always displayed by the hotel to appear with the list of available rates offered.

In order to make sure that you see the exact rate that you will be charged for an accommodation for more than 2 adults, it is best to double-check by emailing us at customer service with your dates and the ages of your children. We will be happy to confirm rates and availability for you.

We now have a new service dedicated to those Tablet Hotels users traveling with children that searches only the verified kid-friendly hotels. Search TabletKids Hotels

The first W hotel in Asia would have to be impressive, and this one certainly is—the W Seoul is an eye-catching sculpture in blue glass, in something of a unique setting, alongside the Han river, at the foot of Mount Acha, on the grounds of the semi-rural Walkerhill hotel and casino complex. Here you’re just a short subway or shuttle ride from downtown Seoul, and distant enough to be able to enjoy a view of the sprawling city lights, as well as a bit of quiet, something you wouldn’t find in a more central location.

The interiors are impressive as well, from the living-room lobby, where guests lounge on daybeds and egg-shaped chairs hang from the high atrium ceiling, to the guest rooms, decorated in bright red and stark white, with natural wood floors and translucent glass shower walls. Everywhere you turn there’s another inventive design flourish—fish swim in a tank alongside the swimming pool, visible from underwater through a glass wall.

Design isn’t the only attraction; of course some of the W hotels are as pretty as any of the world’s designer hotels, but with a professional and uniform approach to service that many independent hotels would do well to emulate. Here there’s no trade-off between visual sophistication and first-class service; you’ll have both, and leave wondering why so many other hotels force you to choose one over the other.
