Cybo is a gem of a restaurant 1/2 block off Piazza Navona. It is much more contemporary at first glance which makes it stand out from the numerous and more typical restaurants in the city. However, the owner has put together a terrific classic menu — Greg had lamb with rosemary and fried artichokes (carciofo) and I had a gorgeous plate of pasta with seafood. The service is great, wine list well priced with some wonderful selections, we sat outside and it was a quiet spot for watching the locals take their stroll, or passeggiata. It is a 5 minute walk to the beautiful hotel Gigli d'Oro (listed with Tablet) and the owner plied us with complimentary Proseco and Limoncello when he found out I was on a vacation to visit my Italian cousins. Very memorable night!
