What I liked:

absolutely nothing at all other than the greenery, and exterior/ architectural designs of the rooms

What the hotel could do better:

hire new, polite competent staff! buy new bedsheets! and have their own cars or at least have arrangements with a good car service company, our stay there was absolutely horrible, I was glad we were out for the most part.

room service was so bad they didn't speak any english and would disturb us even when the DND sign was on the door!

the smell in the lobby area was really and it always felt dusty with all those fabrics hanging around, they really shouldn't be on tablet hotels tbh, i regret every penny spent on that hotel..

Hotel Description

In a region that trades heavily on its historic character, a hotel as unabashedly modern as Lebua Lodge at Amer, Jaipur is something special indeed. Located just outside the walls of the ancient Amer Fort, on the outskirts of Jaipur, it combines elements of two quite different varieties of hotel: the urban boutique and the luxury tented camp.

Look closer and you’ll see that Rasa’s forty units are in fact white canvas tents. The look is far indeed from anything that could be described as colonial, and there’s nothing temporary about these tents — it’s perhaps more realistic to think of them as fully climate-controlled canvas villas. Latticed curtains cover the full-length glass windows, leading to unique lighting effects, the bathrooms are massive and spa-like, with deep soaking tubs, and each tent opens into an outdoor pavilion with a private lounge area and garden.

The peaked tented roof gives the restaurant a soaring arch-like visual presence, and the cuisine draws heavily on produce grown in Lebua’s organic gardens. In its mixture of modern aesthetics and classic influences, it’s a fine metaphor for what’s distinctive about Rasa in the first place. Some will no doubt find it a bit outré, but we imagine you’ll get your fill of Jaipur history in the immediate environs — a bit of modern style at the end of the day is good for the soul.
